On October 22nd, DT-GEO will co-host an ‘unconference session’ titled “EOSC and the Digital Twins” at the EOSC Symposium 2024, a symposium that provides a platform for networking and exchanging ideas with policymakers, funders, and representatives from research institutions, communities, and data- and e-infrastructures active within the EOSC ecosystem. The session in which DT-GEO participates will bring together several key Digital Twins initiatives in Europe, including:
The session will focus on exploring new dimensions of interoperability at both data and service levels. It aims to address challenges and highlight transferable approaches and tools, providing insights into the potential applications of Digital Twins across various research domains.
The session will also discuss the role of Digital Twin Platforms in the future EOSC Nodes, examining how these platforms can enhance research capabilities and support innovation.
